Our on‑site diagnosis starts with checking the audio output device selection, default format matching, driver rollback, and physical jack connections, gradually ruling out software settings and hardware contact issues. For non‑functional front audio panels, we also verify HD Audio vs. AC97 jumper settings. After tuning, we verify with left/right channel test files. Because audio faults can originate from drivers, settings, jacks, or the audio chip itself – involving multiple layers – a deposit is required, and the final fee is based on the actual fault resolved and the time spent.
